Orioles fans see a deeply flawed front office behind a 79-82, fourth-place 2026 season.
In a Q&A with Camden Chat's Tyler Young, fans said homegrown hitters regressed, former top prospects have not lived up to the hype, and injuries hit every spring. Many want president of baseball operations Mike Elias gone, but ownership is expanding the front office and has hired Jared Banner as GM under Elias. Fans are cautiously optimistic about the pitching.

The Viva El Birdos post says Baltimore has reportedly been open to trading nearly its whole roster except Pete Alonso, and that Henderson is available if the return is strong. Adley Rutschman's Orioles career ended with a trade to a division rival while he was on the injured list, per Camden Chat.
Rutschman debuted May 21, 2022, and racked up 12.9 bWAR from 2022-24, the third-most in Orioles history for a player's first three seasons, according to the column. The fan blog says the Orioles still have not won a postseason game in the Mike Elias era.

Blue Jays distance themselves from Anthony Santander's anti-Islam Instagram story posts.
USA Today reports Santander reportedly shared two videos to his Instagram story on Wednesday, Nov. 4, one captioned 'America voted for Sharia (law) last night!' and another reading 'Islam is not peaceful,' both after the midterm elections. The posts followed Abdul El-Sayed's Michigan Senate win, which NY Post reports will make him the first Muslim U.S. senator once he takes office in January. Santander, 32, was limited to 54 games in 2025 by shoulder injuries and is on a five-year, $92.5 million contract. Toronto's statement said 'Individual comments do not represent our organization's values and beliefs.'
